Week 2 - Organize folders and files in Google Drive

OBJETIVE OF THE CLASS:

Build the structure for the organization of the activities, tasks and practices of the subject within google drive for the best organization of the space in the cloud of your Google account.

GOOGLE DRIVE 

Google Drive is the place where you can access all your files (as you have a school email account), including documents you can create from Google such as Google Docs, Google Presentations, spreadsheets, forms and whether all the files you want to save images, videos, music, tasks or activities.


ENTER THE DRIVE AND ORGANIZE EVERYTHING


To log in to google drive you must first log in to your email account (e.g.: a0001@idec.edu.mx)


Already inside the account go to the waffle


The tools available in Google appear, you will find Google Drive


The appearance and content of each student’s Drive can be different, the important thing now is to start with the organization of its content, 


CREATE FOLDERS 

This process is very simple, after entering your Drive space, you will find the following menu of options:



We select the section My Drive by clicking and then you will click with the right mouse button so you can select the option "New folder"



You will see the option to name your new folder:



And ready you have a new folder where you can organize everything related to this school cycle, the proposal for a better organization is as follows: 


  • Create the base folder with the name IdeC 2024-2025

  • Inside the previous folder create the folder 2nd Degree 

  • Inside the folder of your degree you will create all the folders of each subject: 


    • Technology Education II
